Muscle Hardness

Hey folks! Been training on and off for many years, bulking, cutting, main gaining, etc. My muscle tissues pumped or not have consistently stayed relatively "soft", any idea on how to harden them?! Cheers!

Welcome to the forum brother. Can you give us some more details on yourself? Like your age, history with steroids, body fat, body composition, weight etc..

Thanks man, 23, lifetime natty, 6"2 and currently 80kg, previously bulked to high 90s and recently cut down low 70s. Starting to main gain now, and will hit a mini cut once the abs disappear. Strength is increasing, muscle is building, vascularity is there, but cant seem to ever attain muscle hardness.

That’s good progress and a great base. I wouldn’t change what you’re doing. Muscle hardness isn’t just about the gear, it’s about consistent training, diet, and keeping body fat in check. At 6'2" and 80kg, you’ve still got plenty of room to grow naturally. At 23, your natural hormone levels are at their peak. Give it a few more years of natural gains. As you get leaner and build more years of consistent training, muscle hardness will improve, and muscle maturity will give you that dense hard look you're after. Patience.

thank you sir, appreciate the response! ill keep at it.

Plenty of short term tricks for that look but it’s not something you have constantly. Carbohydrate, water and salt modifications are utilised for a show but that won’t help your health, performance or progression.
High reps and Pumps also result in very short term results- oedema, blood & water will deflate quickly. Best to build real strength and muscle fibre if you want it to stay- lots of food, rest and basic low rep training whenever possible ( Bonus is that you benefit from a week off if you train heavy)
