Hey guys

So the wife is off in a trip from 1st to 14th January so im home with the kiddies.

They are realistically bit young for me to be abandoning them to go gym so im stuck with limits gym access for 2 weeks

So I am trying to think of how train to some level of intensity

We got the standard push ups and sit ups, some walking lunges
I have 2 x 5kg dumbells.

But any recommendations would be awesome

Or do I just chill for 14day with my kids and deload

Do you have space for a bench and set of dumbells? If so you'd be able to get a lot of your workouts done with just that.
Feel this would be a temporary purchase which I would be required to sell prior to the wife returning ha ha

Trying to get away with minimum additional to the house which would not get used

2 weeks won’t hurt you at all. Just keep active, keep the protein high and carbs low. You’re not going to lose muscle in that time. You can treat it as a deload and come back fresher, joints happier and motivation higher. If you want to do something try slow tempo push ups, lunges, bodyweight squats and high rep work with the dumbbells will easily maintain things. If not, don't stress just enjoy the time with the kids and hit the gym properly when you’re back.
