Hi all,
I've been on low dose test for years now..
Occasionally upping the dose kind of blast and cruising but as low as 100mg of late and highest 250mg for a year or so.

I've had chest pains on and off over the last couple years, originally I had panic attacks and high stress causing tight chest etc.

It's been really consistent since taking some juice the last 6 months or so from someone other than a bloke I used for years so had a hunch it's shit gear but unsure.

At this stage It's not even stress or panic attacks just daily discomfort, sharp pains Occasionally and feeling of inflammation.

I've been to both doctors and hospitals but I check out perfect each time so far with blood tests and ecg etc..

I've lived an immensely high stress life with some massive traumas and have been consistent on test for years now so I'm wondering if I've finally done some damage but the doctors can't pick up on it yet.
So I'm currently living each day just waiting for something to give way but have just booked another appointment for more testing with little optimism.
I feel like doctors or hospitals won't do anything unless I dropped and had a stroke or heart attack which was obviously noticeable.

But I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced similar from long term gear, shit gear or stress and if they've uncovered something somehow and managed to correct it.

I still function well, work regularly and train daily although it's pretty off putting of late having a feeling like my hearts about to go at any moment.

That's a tough one... sorry to hear your going through this...

I've been on gear for a long time and haven't had these issues but that honestly doesn't mean anyhting. The positive thing here is that you're actually going to the doctors and trying find the cause. Some people ignore these signs.

One thing to remember is that unfortunatley Doctors do miss things as well. I would definitely opt for different opinions. You shoud also push for more detailed heart tests. Also, stress and trauma can physically wreck you. I've seen this happen to mates who don't use steroids.

Good luck with it all brother.

Yeah I had a pretty good run for a while and this could well be more trauma + stress based but been trying to rule out anything else to get it out of my head.

Doctor today basically said since it occurs later in the day generally and doesn't ramp up when I'm pushing myself in the gym it's likely not a heart issue so sent me off no further look in lol.

I feel like the Doctors are near useless unless you basically tell them exactly what you want and demand it after doing your own research.

Bro, I would't let it go, I would ask to be referred to a heart specialist. Just for piece of mind man.

Yeah think you just hit the nail on the head.

( I need to ask for exactly what I need rather than quote symptoms and hope for help )

Doctors can be way off in my experience as they are extreme generalists.

Pick a day (or when you have a couple of days with not much on) and walk into your local hospital's emergency
when your having the chest pains and get them to check you out rather than waiting for gp to refer you etc

Don't sit back and wait for a heart attack

Sounds like you suffer from anxiety along with your stress brother.

I’ve been through similar. Would go see cardiologists and get the works and be told I’m perfect. Go back to my doctor get all bloods checked for anything …. Perfect.

I hit solid chest sessions and for the next day I’ll get chest discomfort or what feels like inflammation and sometimes cramping sensations. But let me tell you I set this off in my own mind by constantly thinking of it and worrying of it. When I stop giving a shit I realise my right side does it also and it’s just the muscle being smashed.

Now running 150mg of test is natural levels mate so no stress there. And going upto 250mg weekly again is nothing that will cause concern (I’m not a doctor)

I have run 500mg test weekly for 18 months straight with no issues.

I am currently wrapping up my cycle sitting on 1.65g of gear weekly and my blood work, stress test, heart sizing and function is all bang on the money.

Everyone is different mate and I’m not telling you that you’re fine. But I would look into ways to ease your mind. I’m unsure of your stats either.

- Are you over weight ? Get that in check
- Work on your cardio !!!!!! Great for the heart
- Find a way to ease your mind. I recently began reading books.
- make sure you get enough sleep
- drop unhealthy lifestyle choices.. ( binge drinking or rec drugs)
- continue to get your check ups done every 8 weeks if on blast
- cardiologist every 12 months is always a good choice too.

Hope this helps brother. I’m no doctor but I’m someone who suffered similar issues with a high stress life my entire life. Plenty of trauma, anxiety etc.

Good advice, you forgot to add stop watching the news and listening to the radio 🤣 I haven’t turned the tv or radio on in over 2 1/2 years, so I don’t get worked up with all the media bullshit. I still have to deal with ****heads pulling out in front of me and cutting me off in the truck on a daily basis, but I use that anger in the gym at night, instead of using them for a speed bump. The stress of this modern world is causing a lot of health issues for some I’m sure. I hope you get on top of it.

Yeh I can’t say I watch the news or listen to the radio. Each time I get a small update on what’s happening in this world or Australia alone it gets on my nerves.

We gotta do our best to limit the stress to our already stressful lives

Yeah and a common thing that causes anxiety is a deficiency in magnesium and sodium too. I would suggest magnesium Glycinate 400mg alongside a DHA rich fish oil before bed as they can do great things for the nervous system. Adaptogens are also a good thing to take as they can allow the body to handle more stress. I recommend Panax Ginseng and Ashwaganda. If it is muscle related then taking more rest days during a week will help too. Gear is amazing at recovery but 2-3 rest days a week can go a long way

I also believe from time to time you need to take a full week off. You will realise how much your body is hurting when you truly let it repair 100% and get to come back stronger.

Magnesium at night is a game changer for people who struggle to switch their mind off so that obviously goes with stress and anxiety. I take 600mg every night. I also take 8000mg fish oil containing containing 2400mg omega 3

Plus every other supplement under the sun 😂

They all play their part but I think most people who live with stress and anxiety need to address underlying issues Wheather it be sleep, work, toxic lifestyle or relationship. Find ways to put your mind into quiet mode and you will feel a lot better
