Anyone use 0.22μm wheel filters?

Hey, just discovered my local needle exchange stock inline syringe filters, from what I've read these will actually filter out most bacteria. They have quite a bit of wastage (~0.5ml) so guess I'd have to get some 5ml syringes and filter the entire vial content into another vial.

• Bacteria – Effectively removes most bacteria, including:
  
  • Staphylococcus
  • Streptococcus
  • Escherichia coli (E. coli)
  • Pseudomonas
  • Clostridium
• Fungi & Yeast – Removes fungal spores (e.g., Candida, Aspergillus).
• Particulate Matter – Filters out dust, undissolved solids, and microparticles.
• Some Mycoplasm

Is anyone using these, have used these for their UGL gear for extra safety?
