Hey, just discovered my local needle exchange stock inline syringe filters, from what I've read these will actually filter out most bacteria. They have quite a bit of wastage (~0.5ml) so guess I'd have to get some 5ml syringes and filter the entire vial content into another vial.
Is anyone using these, have used these for their UGL gear for extra safety?
- Bacteria – Effectively removes most bacteria, including:
- Staphylococcus
- Streptococcus
- Escherichia coli (E. coli)
- Pseudomonas
- Clostridium
- Fungi & Yeast – Removes fungal spores (e.g., Candida, Aspergillus).
- Particulate Matter – Filters out dust, undissolved solids, and microparticles.
- Some Mycoplasm
