    Yes for a few months then didn't needed as levels swung hyper thyroid back low (hypothyroid) again in test done a few weeks back. Getting tested again in 4 weeks tsh 4.13 , free t3 5.7, free t4 18.0, tpo ab 88. Same time last year tsh 4.80 , free t3 6.1 , free t4 13.5 , tpo ab > 1300

    Rick, if the GP won't test for t3, t4 , can always pay yourselves and go thru imedical.com.au for blood tests. I had to switch gp's to get tested and find out I've supposedly got hashimotos, after being told I had low tsh and just to monitor it for ten years and gain weight.
